- Marmaris is currently our favourite local Kebab and Pizza supplier. They make very good pizzas at very reasonable prices and the shish kebabs are always delicious, be they chicken, lamb, steak or a combination.
- Marmaris deliver! Our chosen method of obtaining our pizza and kebab is by pizza courier. They always deliver in the time quoted and its always piping hot. Its worth leaving the box lid open for a few seconds before trying to grab a hot slice of pizza.

- We still miss the Marmaris Takeaway.
- The name still crops up in conversation when takeaway pizza is mentiond and we reminisce of the times we had the cheesy garlic bread pizza and the huge and very cheesy special pizzas. Compared to the national chains of
pizza delivery, Marmaris would still easily beat the taste and presentation of these pizzas. Maramris would also win by delivering a pizza and a kebab, in the same order, that is someting the nationals have never mastered.
All of our Marmaris experience was pre-pandemic, pre-app, when food delivery was not as accessable or common as it is today. Each resturant would have to employ their own deivery drivers if they wanted to give the customer a delivery service.
Not all resturants would provide this delivery service, although nearly all Pizza shops would have to in order to stay competetive. There was no central app to go to that could tell you about every takeway or pizza shop with 5 star reviews that can deliver to you, today.
It took a lot more work to find a good pizza, from all the flyers that were pushed through the letter box, it could take several attempts at ordering form different resturants to get the quality and style of pizza you desired.
Finding Marmaris did mean we probably ate takeway pizza a little too often, maybe too much cheese in the diet (if that even is a thing?) be we still have a huge pizza shaped hole in our hearts and say to the staff of Marmaris in St.Denys
'So long and thanks for all the pizza'.
